Executive Vice President, Development And Construction
Current• Lead the overall real estate strategy.• Develop recommendations and create concepts and strategic plans for new initiatives.• Oversee and negotiate key contracts, including leases, term sheets, corporate operating agreements, purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, development and construction contracts, easements, and similar agreements.• Supervise site due diligence investigations conducted by third-party vendors, ensuring thorough and accurate assessments.• Represent the company in local markets by building and maintaining relationships, and attending public meetings (such as neighborhood, zoning, and planning meetings) to secure project approvals.• Manage the entitlement process, including zoning, fees, and permits, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected, reviewed, and submitted. Coordinate with other company departments as needed.• Oversee the selection, negotiation, and procurement of third-party contractors, including architects, engineers, and consultants.• Oversee and direct the project team from the beginning to the end, including property management, hand-off, and the fulfillment of the one-year construction warranty.• Assist Human Resources with hiring, development, performance, and growth management, as well as other supervisory tasks.
