As a Student Leader for the 12th Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition (LKYGBPC), I oversee international outreach across ASEAN, East Asia, India, South America, MENA, and Oceania, managing a five-person subcommittee and forging partnerships with top universities, incubators, and entrepreneurial networks. I introduced a master CRM system to streamline stakeholder relations and collaboration with the other departments involved in organizing the competition.

The YSEALI Academic Fellowships are intensive short term academic Institutes whose purpose is to provide groups of young leaders with a deeper understanding of the United States, and a particular theme, while simultaneously enhancing their leadership skills. This program will consist of a balanced series of seminar discussions, readings, group presentations, and lectures. The coursework and classroom activities will be complemented by educational travel, site visits, leadership activities, and volunteer opportunities within the local community. The program will include an academic residency component of approximately four weeks and a domestic study tour of approximately one week. During the academic residency, participants will also have the opportunity to engage in educational and cultural activities outside the classroom.

As part of the Exco, I am also involved in the Strategic Planning for the organisation and I am currently spearheading the technology-related initiatives across ABYA.

As the CMO of an organisation that started off with 7 and currently boasts more than 200 members, I had played a critical role in the growth of the ABYA community as I led the largest team within the organisation, consisting of individuals much older and experienced than me. The experience has taught me and humbled me deeply. I led various marketing initiatives, mainly online (due to the covid pandemic) and covered various programmes and events organised by ABYA. A short experience after my A-Levels that gave me an insight into how an MNC operates, the various departments and roles in a firm like PwC and the importance of the CSS team that handles the seemingly unimportant but critical tasks that support the structure of the clients' operations.I was privileged to be given the responsibility to work on a project involving a high value client.
