CurrentLed multiple projects which improved the inventory replenishment workflow for PrimeNow, Amazon’s 2 hour shipping program:1. Saved Amazon $10MM per year by designing and developing an API for an existing system which enabled it to vend near real-time data instead of 24-hour stale data.2. Drove alignment between 6 teams on the technical interactions needed to support a VP level goal.3. Optimized a production system and reduced its worst-case runtime from 8 hours to 30 minutes.Led the team’s efforts to improve our operational excellence:1. Proactively identified and removed duplicate effort across all 4 clients of a dependency by collaborating with the dependency team to improve their interface.2. Proactively identified and removed redundancies in 3 client teams by folding processes into my team and having clients depend on the output.3. Proactively automated a weekly on-call process of redriving 24 dead-letter queues, setting a new team standard which was reused in future projects.4. Proactively designed a 6-week medium-term solution to address an issue that caused 10 customer contacts per week. Due to resource constraints we were unable to prioritize the original 22-week long-term solution, but we successfully prioritized the medium-term solution which resolved all customer issues and reduced our incoming ticket rate by 35%.5. Noticed knowledge silos within the team, so I proposed and led a sprint demo initiative to foster knowledge sharing among team members.
