Praneet's Journey So far:Discover how I went from Textile Technologist -> Tech Consultant -> Sustainability Consultant.Praneet’s professional journey started with an internship as a sales guy in an educational consulting firm during the pandemic. Being a textile engineer, sales was unconventional. Strict protocols for COVID-19 made it more difficult for him to pursue an internship in a textile organization. He was still searching for his passion, but soon he realized that passion cannot be found it has to be discovered.After numerous applications, he found an internship at the Centre of Excellence Textile Institute based out in Germany. It was a surreal experience for him to work with the Industry leaders in Automation. He discovered the progress of automation in the textile Industry. He learnt various applications of AI, Big data, Cloud Computing, Augmented reality, Cyber security, Additive manufacturing, IIOT, and CPS in the Textile industry. He researched and highlighted various Industry 4.0 technologies that can be implemented in the Indian Textile Industry. This experience opened a new world of technological advancement for him and fueled his curiosity to dive deeper.His first full-time job was in PwC as a technological consultant, wherein he worked as a techno-functional consultant helping clients automate their Accounts Payable processes. He discovered the impact that technology can make on the finances of a company. He worked with various clients from oil & gas, and beverages to Food giants. It was a beach clean-up volunteering experience that changed everything. He saw a problem that Mother Earth was facing. He found like-minded people and learned a lot about Climate Change and its impact. His career took a 360° when he decided to leave tech consulting and move forward in the Sustainability domain. Currently, he is following his passion and working with Greenmyna helping clients celebrate sustainably.
