Pranesh Nevali, B.E (Civil)Core Field: Planning & SchedulingExperience: 5+ years (Dubai & Oman)Responsibilities: Developing comprehensive construction schedules with cost loading, resource allocation, resource histogram, resource usage spreadsheet and progressive S curve to establish the baseline for project planning. By using Critical Path Method (CPM), identifying the critical activities with the help of gantt chart (i.e., zero total float) to effectively monitor the project timeline and proactively address the risks, develop the contingency plans and allocate the additional resources. Allocating costs to each activity based on factors such as labor, materials, equipment and overhead expenses, to estimate financially planned progress. Allocating resources including labor, non-labor and materials based on the productivity estimation for all activities involved in the project. Developing resource histograms to visually represent the distribution and utilization of labor and non-labor resources by estimating the budgeted units for each resource. Engaged in monitoring and controlling phase of the project by updating actual data in the baseline schedule, and promptly implemented mitigation and recovery measures to address schedule lags and deviations. Preparation of DPR, WPR and MPR by documenting and illustrating the works executed, resources deployed, NOC status, progress snaps, financial and physical progress achieved, HSE records, interim payment certificates, comparison of planned and achieved percentages, risk factors and delay events. Utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) to monitor the project's progress and determine if the progress aligns with the planned value in terms of both cost and schedule. Calculating Cost Variance and Schedule variance to monitor the project’s progress whether it is going as per planned value/planned schedule or deviated. Estimating Cost Performance Index and Schedule Performance Index to measure the efficiency of cost and schedule respectively. Preparation of claims for EoT by analyzing delay events that have occurred throughout the project's lifecycle, substantiating the request with well-documented evidence and collaborating with stakeholders for a fair resolution. Prepares BOQ, rate analysis, quoting of unit prices for accurate cost estimation. Drafting letters for all types of communications with the Client and the Consultant. Preparation of comprehensive tender documents, encompassing both technical and financial proposals.
