I am a biomedical scientist with an expertise in vascular biology. I have adapted an inter-disciplinary approach to study the vasculature and vascular pathologies. I work on biological models using tissue culture, animal models, human samples and implement latest advancements in in-vitro systems, image analysis and machine learning. I am inspired by fast-paced advancements of technology and I constantly work towards its applications fueling advancements in my own research.I see Science and Arts to compliment each other in many ways and as a trained Bharatanatyam (Indian Classical dance) artiste, I engage in science communication. This also gives the opportunity to develop innovative approaches in engaging and invoking scientific interests in young minds.Coming from an Indian heritage and being passionate about Classical Indian dance, I lead projects that bring a fresh and innovative approach to traditional performing arts.
