I am Pranjal Gupta, a dedicated full-time MBA student at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business, specializing in finance and driven by a profound passion for the energy sector.🎓 My academic journey began with honors in Chemical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. My specialization in Catalysis and Reaction Engineering led me to work extensively with Graphene technology. I further enriched my knowledge as a MITACS Globalink ’17 fellow, gaining invaluable research experience at McGill University, Montreal.💼 With an extensive 5-year tenure spanning the Oil and Gas as well as Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industries, my professional trajectory has been both versatile and impactful. My tenure as an Associate at Reckitt Benckiser saw me lead the fabric, dish, and air care segments for South Asia. Collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams, I spearheaded projects from inception to product launches, closely interfacing with finance, operations, supply, legal, and regulatory functions. Before this, I played an integral role at Reliance Industries as a Process Engineer within the world’s largest Petrochemical Complex. My responsibilities encompassed due diligence, plant economics, and process design, all approached with a blend of innovation and data-driven decision-making.📚 Beyond the realm of work, I find solace in exploring nature’s trails. One of my most cherished memories was hiking to Kedarnath in India. I’m also a passionate biker who has covered vast expanses of northern and western India. Presently, I am embarking on the journey to master the art of golf.
