Cash ReconciliationOpen trade Equity - The unrealized gain or loss on open positions in future. OTE team deals with different product like Contract for Difference (CFD), Futures and Over the Counter (OTC).The primary responsibility is to reconcile trade, cash and position between Prime Broker (PB) data and Geneva data (Clients data).Settlement ProcessSettlement process are performed in order to convert unrealised gain/loss into realised gain/loss.Settlement is done for dividends, Contract for Difference (CFD) Financing, Unwinds, Reset gains, Withholding Tax and Forex (FX) on their respective pay date.Margin MovementMargin process is performed in order to have a certain limit of treasure in every respective funds.As per the agreement with client, Margin movement is done only for those funds whose settlement are not been performed (unrealised to realised).Fund AccountingAssisting Fund accounting team in their daily On-line Analytical Processing (OLAP) process to identify any errors or fails in trades/Cash.This process is done to identify whether securities are traded on correct price, analyzing Net Asset Value (NAV) for each funds is appropriate, taking action on back dated amendments. Over The Counter (OTC) Reconciliation is been performed for OTC products i.e. Interest Rate Swap (IRS), Credit Default Swap (CDS), Foreign Exchange (FX) and Forwards. We need to keep a track on position for all securities across different funds and counterparties.In case of maturity of security or discrepancy in position we need to chase counterpart or client for resolution.
