• Communicated directly with two associate professors in a qualitative research project with a goal of increasing efforts by scientists to communicate their academic findings with the general public• Interviewed over 50 professors in the Human Centered Design and Engineering field around the world to gather survey data about the frequency and the reasons why certain professors did (or did not) make it priority to communicate their research findings• Worked with a PhD student to publish a research paper analyzing our survey data and providing communication tips for researchers
