Even as a child, I have always loved the raw yet therapeutic experiences that nature has to offer. But not less often have I found myself craving man-made comforts as well. That's how I decided to be a landscape architect - creating the best of both worlds for others like me. Now as a professional landscape architect and project lead for multiple projects of varying scales and scopes, I try and imbibe these values into my work to provide the world with the same balanced experience of nature within the comforts of man-made environments. Through experience, I have come to realize that this balance can be attained in any space, from a private residential balcony to a vast corporate campus. I believe that in our field of work, it boils down to having your heart in the right place and a few years and numerous excruciating working details later - you have your dream project come to life!! My professional experience so far has helped me gain deep knowledge of landscape architecture in the Indian urban setting. I have got opportunities to work on huge range of projects including urban residences, rural farmhouses, large-scale gated communities, small commercial projects and corporate campuses spread across acres. In my current role, I lead projects from the inception to getting the last working detail executed along with the planting schemes. I believe my biggest strengths are analytical and methodical thinking and my willingness to question existing norms and patterns. These qualities ensure an efficient work ethic without compromising creativity.When I am not creating comfortable green spaces, you will find me either reading or indulging in some kind of art or craft and if the Indian weather permits then exploring the outdoors.
