As a Doctoral researcher at the MINED Group, my work involves formulating, progressing, and managing novel computer vision projects focused on AI-driven Materials Discovery (Materials Informatics), including Materials Design (particularly at the atomistic scale). Other responsibilities include monitoring HPC analytics within the research group, being a board member at MEGA, etc.Other undertaken research activities are shown in the image(s) below.

◦ Supervised and managed a team of Data Scientists across the USA, France, and India◦ Part-time Solution Architect (SA) for the Product Team with a focus on Materials Discovery projects◦ Successfully coordinated integration of work done by the Solutions/Materials-Data-Scientists team and the implementation of the same into company products in coordination with transnational Engineering teams.

◦ Successfully developed AI-based Materials Design workflows for transnational industry-based clients and US-based national laboratories.◦ Successfully integrated valuable workflows and features in the pursuit of accelerated materials discovery.

Instructed a class of 50+ graduate students for the ME 8813 – AI4ME class which focused on the AI/ML Fundamentals in AI4Science applications(Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, etc.). The professors who oversaw my instruction & grading are Dr. Yan Wang and Dr. Surya Kalidindi.

Participated in and accomplished two projects on materials discovery for solid-state Hydrogen Storage at the atomistic scale with the application of various QM simulations. Published a major project where I used QM Simulations (DFT & MD) to predict a high-capacity and stable novel material for solid-state Hydrogen Storage. Formulated workflows on predicting the mechanical properties of materials from composition using ML: Interned with the IMaGen Lab in the Mechanical Engineering department. Also, set up a platform for deploying Materials Informatics on a web interface (using Flask).Overall work was advised by Dr. Alankar Alankar (IITB).

Participated in a Project involving Aluminium-Alloy Phase-Field Modelling and the extension of further investigations using DFT. I was also involved in managing research collaborations with Washington University at St. Louis and IIT Kanpur. My overall work was advised by Dr. Shibayan Roy (IIT-KGP)

Worked on the Mozilla AOA Team. (Army of Awesome) I was a part of a PR team, providing solutions to Mozilla consumers reporting issues over Twitter.

In collaboration with the Chemical engineering department, I participated in an experimental project on preventing water pollution using abiotic methods by developing anti-pollutant membranes.

Formulated computational workflows for the discovery of nano-composites and transition metal-doped carbon nanostructures for Hydrogen Storage using First Principles QM calculations. Participated in and completed two projects, Defect Detection of Investment Casting Aeronautic parts and Quality Control using Lean Management combined with Experimentation. This internship was completed at the Foundry & Forge Divison @HAL, which manufactures components for Boeing, Rafale, and other leading aeronautic companies.

Worked in a PR role for MNCs like MTV, Times Group, etc.
