Multi year experience with IBM involved evolution through multiple roles, mainly graduating from a programmer to a subject matter expert - enterprise systems architect.Worked for the US & Canada enterprise customers to design large enterprise datacenters OS subsystem coding, specialising in ZOS Storage, Replication, archival auto tiering & Storage Auto Tiering. Responsibilities included writing reusable code that could be deployed across multiple customers and can also help IBM’s Global Service Integrator partners with complex Z/OS level issue resolution. Role also involved working on finding innovative solutions to complex problems, in course of which, developed multiple such re-usable code base, which were deployed across multiple global enterprise customers and also lead to a IP.com paper to serve as a prior art in case IBM decides to file a patent for the created innovation.

Was part of CSC, which has now renamed itself to DXC, worked as a system programmer for enterprise class systems. Writing system level code for Operating Sub systems, around memory management, storage management & other OS & System level services. Operating sub system level programming, primarily operating on Non x86, large enterprise class Mainframe Systems. With Z/OS, Z/VM & Z/Linux as the primary operating system, handled the Storage subsystem as part of the key focus area. Writing system codes and application programmes to perform complex OS system level operations. Customer engagement involved working on USA & UK centric enterprise customers and also supporting Global service integrators with Mainframe Operating subsystem level issues and code snippets.
