Middle Office Operations : NSE & BSE - Responsible for handling operations for Cash Equities segment. - Activities involve Trade validation, processing and sending confirmations to the end clients. - Liaising with the custodians for pre-matching of the trades and reporting of the trades to the exchange. - Ensure smooth settlement of trades for the clients on T+1. - Interacting with various other departments for the funding and settlement related queries on behalf of the clients. - Ensuring all regulatory requirements are met for the trades executed for the clients on T day and reporting any deviations to the exchanges on a timely manner. - Setting up Intra day trading limits for the Dealers and Clients. - Communicating with the clients with regards to settlement discrepancies, regulatory updates, introduction of new practices in the market from SEBI, NSE, BSE, etc. - Communicating with the custodian for status of Trade settlements and also for retrieving SSI’s for account set up of clients. - Timely updates of all the static data pertaining to the clients and other Master data. - Archiving of all the relevant approvals retrieved for static update from an audit point of view. - Keeping a note of the circulars & notifications issued by the exchange and acting on the ones which impact the day to day trading. - Generating MIS of the transactions on a weekly, monthly and annual basis to be presented to the top management for their review and decision making. - Assist the research team by preparing reports based on the historical trading information. - Work closely with the Technical team to introduce automations and implement improvements in the current systems.
