• Assisted the progress of crop cutting experiments service for kharif season crops (Rice & Blackgram), focusing on Agritech Driven data analysis conducted by state government for Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) in collaboration with Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Golaghat.• Estimated crop yields efficiently at Gram Panchayat level in Golaghat district for timely claim settlement under the PMFBY scheme.

Conducted the following activities:• Managed daily farm operations from land preparation to harvesting and marketing of various ornamental, medicinal and aromatic plants.• Hands-on training on various Post harvest technology and value addition involved in rice milling, mustard oil processing and turmeric powder processing.• Prepared and presented a detailed bankable project report on Lemon squash industry and Greenhouse production on indoor foliage houseplants through financial analysis, Depreciation, Repayment schedule and Cashflow statement.

• Worked closely with farm families, identified their problems and made use of various extension tools like Participatory Rural Appraisal, Method and Result demonstration, Farmer’s training, Mass media etc. under the supervision of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Jorhat.• Established an Agriculture Knowledge Centre to aid the dissemination of farm-related technologies.• Organized an Agricultural Exhibition displaying models, specimens, charts, photographs, pictures, posters or any other information related to agriculture and allied activities to create awareness and interest in the rural farming community.Position of responsibility: Team lead of 32 students stationed at KVK, Jorhat.
