Grew and managed $500M+ P&L, while building high-level customer connects in a multitude of industries, including global Fortune 500 leaders in Retail and CPG.Most recently, as a Vice President at Cognizant, I held the position of Strategic Business Unit Head in Retail and Consumer Goods Business Unit. In this leadership role, I owned all customer relationships, with full P&L responsibility across the three new service lines of Digital Business, Digital Operations and Digital Systems & Technology. Led a portfolio of 12 Retail and 11 CG companies and won several deals helping clients embrace the digital transformation.As a Vice President and Deputy Global Head of the Retail and CPG Business Unit at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), I was responsible for the end-to-end ownership of relationships, for a wide majority of the North America based customers. My key accomplishments included - growing the unit revenue from $177M to $530M, recruiting and mentoring 15 Client Partners. I directed and assisted Client Partners and global Delivery Partners to seamlessly manage a global pool of 7,000+ Associates.I held the Regional Director role from 2001 to 2007 and was responsible for customer acquisition and the relationships across all industries. Led the acquisition of several large global multi-million dollar deals in the US; which were trend setters for India based IT firms and increased the annual revenue by 500% to $150M.I was the first Practice Director of eBusiness from 1999 to 2001, supporting all of North America, was the Regional Manager in Chicago from 1996 to 1999 and Account Executive at The GAP in San Francisco for two years, after early career roles in England, Scotland and India.I have also received several Performance Excellence Awards.
