Initially joined company as Senior Manager-Finance (Feb`00-Aug`05), then promoted to GM-Finance (Sep`05-Mar`07), then rose to the level of Additional VP-Finance (Apr`07-Mar`10) & currently functioning as VP-Finance (Feb`10-Till date). My major responsibilities include:Headed Treasury and Fund raising function at TTSL, raising INR 30,000 crores of funding through various sources both, domestic and international, including capital markets, ECA backed loans, ECBs, structured finance etc. Extensively involved in all aspects of Book Built Public issue Tata Teleservices (M)Ltd of INR 750 crores. Spearheading due-diligence process by private equity investors and strategic investors. Handled negotiation with the investors (foreign and domestic) and underwriters on the pricing of the issue and terms of the placement.Successfully raised USD 125 mn by way of FCCBs in Tata Teleservices (M) Ltd.Managed foreign currency exposure and Interest Rate exposure of more than USD 1.20 bn. Hedged currency and interest rate exposures of more than USD 650 mn using options, cross currency swaps, and interest rate swaps respectively.Lead the tie up & establishing letter of credit valued more than INR 3,000 crores and arranged suppliers/buyers credit worth more than INR 2,500 crores.Planned & refinanced long INR 11,000 crores with a door-to-door maturity of 11 years resulting in improved terms.Headed and managed the Insurance function of assets more than INR 10,000 crores.Fund Raising:Long term rupee loans of more than INR 15,000 crores.Private placement of Non-Convertible Debentures of Rs 3,000 crs + (including a tranche of Rs 500 crs for 15 years tenor)Commercial Papers of more than Rs 3000 crsShort-term loans, Buyers Credit, Bills Discounting, establishing LCs etc. of more than Rs 4000 crs.Export Credit Agency backed loan of ~USD 650 mn from three different ECAs.USD 126 mn from IIFCL, UK, a first ever funding from them to a telecom operator

Raised funding of more than 6,000 crores, including by way of an IPO (largest Indian IPO in 1992), of Rs 1,000 crores, ECB backed long term foreign currency Suppliers' Credit (~(USD 300 mn) , lease financing of ~Rs 425 crores, financing of Mangalore port (Rs 230 crs), INR term loans of ~2000 crs, Prefrential Issue of Convertible Debentures ~Rs 725 crs, and host of short term loans, and loans against Oil Bonds.Evaluation of various fund raising options, like GDR, etcHedging of FX
