• Central Excise & Education Cess: Experience of accounting entries and supervising the reconciliation of excise and accounting records. Ascertaining the credit in respect of RG 23A & RG 23C records. Also responsible for reconciling of balances of financial records and Returns and passing necessary JVs for its reconciliation. • Service Tax: Accounting for service tax credit in respect of service tax paid on Goods Transport Services. Also responsible for reconciliation of balances in returns with that of the Financial Ledger on monthly basis. • Income Tax: Involved in Finalization of Accounts, Consolidation of Accounts (AS-21), Preparing Notes to Accounts and Disclosures in Financial Statements at Corporate Level. Compliance with TDS Provisions on contractors’ payments and TCS provisions as per the Act and filing of quarterly TDS/TCS returns 24Q, 26Q etc, Preparation of statements for Tax Audit purposes in compliance with various provisions of the Act. Preparation of tax plans & ensuring timely filing and also preparation of Form 16 and Form 16A.• VAT: Responsible for accounting and taking the credit against VAT paid in inputs and Capital Goods, filing returns and records maintenance.

• Possess good knowledge in accounting Concepts and overseeing the preparation and maintenance of statutory books of accounts, Trial Balance, Financial Statements and finalization of plant accounts within time and accuracy norms.• Accounting entries for transactions, Approval for Contractor’s bills verification and purchase bills Verification and other day-to-day activities and preparing cash budget requirements on monthly basis for remittances from head office.• TDS Accounting, Reconciliation of Financial & Inventory Ledger, Value Adjustments for Inventories, Sister Units reconciliation , Bank Reconciliation Statements, Payroll etc. • Closing of books of accounts on monthly basis and reporting to management regarding profitability and analyzing the reasons for variances affecting profitability on monthly basis.
