Packaging Engineer
Current1. Independently drive the packaging development, designing, testing& containerization activities for new product launches globally.2. Develop packaging specifications/material selection based onproduct performance requirements across the category & regionsw.r.t distribution channel.3. Develop the packaging test plans for the product testing andvalidation based on the product supply chain fulfilment strategy.(Testing includes with Compression, Drop, vibration & impact4. Apply standard testing methods (ISTA, SIOC, FedEx, ASTM) basedon product weight, characteristics, and packaging system designrequirements.5. Performance goals – Sustainable packaging VAVE, Returnablepackaging for supplier sourced and plant to across RDC’s.6. Develop prototypes samples with vendors for design parts, fit test,and conduct packaging qualification and verification testing withinternal & external test labs (SGS/BV), also conduct field trials.Working with cross-functional teams (Project management,Sourcing, Engineering, Marketing) for effectively andprofessionally to align with key business objectives and ensureproduct launches.7. Supplier development for packaging material (Returnable &Sustainable components)8. Well-versed with PLM tools like windchill, SAP, Project Online
