Prasad Bajaj is a Manager, Computational Biology at ICRISAT. He possess expertise in computational biology, linux, c, perl, web applications and 17 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "Prasad has worked with us as Computational Biologist, for more than 7 years at ICRISAT. In his stint, he has been a very committed and going beyond the call of duty person. He takes ownership, exhibits immense potential, and is capable to learn and grow at a very fast pace. In these years, he has worked on and contributed to multiple large scale genomics projects, proactively engaging with all internal, external and international stakeholders. He combines unique subject matter expertise, technical knowledge and analytical skills to drive complex projects to completion. For instance, The 3000 Chickpea Genome Sequencing project is amongst many other project where he made pivotal and significant contribution that helped us to publish this study in NATURE (Prasad is 4th author on the article), that made rounds in international media including The New York Times, The Economist etc. I would rate Prasad very highly, not only for his knowledge and skill but also for his perseverance and ability to remain methodical under severe pressure.
