Took on the responsibility for Seagate Flash R&D post-Xiotech’s acquisition of ISE Technology with accountability for driving the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Seagate HPC Open Systems products. Led engineering /R&D teams & technology delivery functions to deliver new product introductions, product improvements, and new operational efficiencies. Internally promoted to lead the R&D India team for the Seagate Systems Division with accountability for business development for Seagate HPC in India and APAC for large portfolio.

Spearheaded as Technical Product Manager to support the product lifecycle from concept, design, implementation, testing, launch, production, promotion, and support, while prioritizing and balancing the needs of customers and stakeholders. Later took on the reigns to build the entire R&D team at the ODC in Hyderabad.

Joined XioTech USA and took on the mandate to setup the Offshore Development Centre in India from ground up.

My role as Principal Software Engineer was to be involved with a team of developers for the Click to Meet Premier product.

Was primarily involved in architecture and design of a live streaming web cast website. I was also very actively involved in a lot of minor projects as given by the company. These projects included a database administrator project which involved a banking schedule component for Times Bank, India. This would eventually allow fast, easy and browser based access to Time's bank's schedule information. Another project involved was taking the role of one of the primary developers for a suite of E-Commerce Application packages for MDC's Indian software center at Bharath Advanced Technologies. INSTAWEB-E was the state of the art e-commerce application package. It was designed to create a fast E-Commerce store for small to medium sized organization. The salient features includes, Instant E-Commerce site creation, cost effective choices of layouts, simple content entry, unlimited number of products and categories, TAX, shipping and Credit Card processing and Report generation. ASP, CICS, DB2 and a lot more Y2k projects and its connected training development. Involved in a lot of coding on decoders for Y2k which was instrumental in finding out the date bugs in code.

Job involved doing a number of projects that were contracted to Focus Infotech. Primary work involved working on Y2K problems on Mainframes and DB2 and OS2/Warp simulated environments. Some of the main projects that I was involved in are: Off Shore Maintenance, Household Finance Corporation, Switzerland - I was responsible for design and implementation of the credit check program and database conversion of the same module. The main application was Loan processing system and included regular loans and revolving lending. The need was to provide offshore maintenance and support for a large legacy system. The legacy systems were using Assembler, COBOL, and DB2. Y2K Migration for Safeway UK. I was developing the year 2000 conversion modules for Safeway, based in UK... Safeway is a department chain in UK having several grocery and merchandise outlets. Their database was migrated from IBM DB2 and COBOL code and was renovated using Microfocus REVOLVE2000 tool.
