Duties performed, Erection, testing and commissioning of, 245KV outdoor Air Insulated Switchgear with required extensions to the double bus bar arrangement comprising of 3 Nos. of 245kV Shunt Reactor bays 3 Nos. of 50MVar Variable Shunt Reactors (VSR) with On Load Tap Changers Control, Metering, Monitoring & Protection equipment for 245kV Shunt Reactor bays Modifications to DC equipment and LVAC equipment, SCADA & Communication equipment, existing Control mimic, Digital Disturbance Recorder, substation grounding system and shield earth wire system. Cable ladders, Power and Control Cables including terminations Replacement and re-routing of existing 36kV power cables from 36kV GIS to the shifted outdoor gantries and commissioning Project: 33kV cable network of 100MW semi dispatchable wind power plant in Sri Lanka. Duties performed, Obtaining employer’s approval for procurement of 33KV cable network cables and accessories. Liaise with consultants and cable manufactures for the design of cable network using CYMCAP software Designing of joint bays, cable termination arrangements, and cable management system in side turbines and Grid Substation. Installation, testing and commissioning of cable network including cable laying (38km), jointing (82 nos) & termination (60 nos). Finding of cable faults and fault rectifications. Liaise with designing & procurement of wind farm SCADA system including video wall system, power quality analyser system and furniture. Site management & assistance to project management. Document controlling, preparation of MOM and supporting on contractual matters. Project planning, progress reviewing, cost controlling and resource management. Liaise with CEB, Main contractor, consultants & other sub-contractors.

Project: Installation of water pumps, control panels for water supply & sanitation Project: Construction of 2 Nos. of line bays in 132KV GSS Performed Civil constructions of outdoor AIS equipment foundations, cable trenches & backfilling works.

Project: National system control centre building for Ceylon Electricity Board. Completed overall MEP design & construction works including Stand by Generator, AMF panel, LVAC panels, Lighting protection system, Lighting system, Emergency Lighting system, Outdoor Lighting system, Cable Management System and Power cables, Fire protection & detection system, CCTV system, Public Address system, LAN system, Internet and data cabling for SCADA communications.

Construction of Kanufushi Island Resort Direct involvement of designing & installation of Lighting & power system of Guest lodgings, Guest public areas, Accommodations & facility buildings for staff, Kitchens, Restaurants, Laundry, Cool rooms, swimming pools, Spa & Sauna & Gym, Landscape lighting, Lightning protection system. Cable management system, lightning protection system & Earthing system, indoor & outdoor lighting system, 400KVA ups & battery bank system.

1. designing and manufacturing modular type low voltage switch gear & control gear assemblies rated to 400A, 800A, 2500A, 3500A, 4000A2. Participated & inspected of design verification tests of assemblies according to IEC 61439-1&2 standards, which were conducted in IPH test laboratory, Germany and ERDA laboratory, India.
