FPSO FIRENZE ICB-REFURBISHMENT PROJECT Inspection of the material received (Paints, Abrasives, Painting & Insulation) at site and witnessing of various laboratory tests pertaining to aforesaid coatings as per the relevant specification/procedure.Checking the physical and chemical test of the paint film and review the calibration status of all test instruments required.Carrying inspections at Vendors place for New & Refurbishment Modules.Attending Weekly & Monthly meetings with Vendors, Sub-Con, Yard Inspectors and project team.Involved the weekly quality walk about surveillance with contractors and clients.Carried out Painting inspection for the Spools, Structural items, Hull, Water ballast tank, Cargo tank, Slope Tank etc.Checking of coating thickness and Monitoring of holiday testing, repair of holidays and rectification of other coating defects.Prepare and issue the nonconformance if any works do not comply with procedure.Identify the root cause and provide corrective and preventive action plan for the NCR.Timely interaction with the clients regarding technical queries related to the project execution.Close monitoring of daily erection activities on site and on board to ensure that the work carried out as per approved procedures.Perform tests on insulation materials to ensure that they meet industry standards.Checking that the insulation meets regulatory requirements and standards set by building codes and safety regulations.Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process of Hot and Cold Insulation with contractors to resolve them.Ensuring that the installation of insulation is done safely and without any hazards to the workers or the building occupants.Evaluate the insulation needs for specific projects and make recommendations for the best materials and methods to use.Accumulate the final documentation of all discipline documents Prepare & Review of the Manufacture Data Record (MDR) and handover the Client.

Inspect Surfaces with sharp corners and subject to immersion conditions shall be rounded by forming a fillet with approximately 25 mm radius using an epoxy groutPerform Adhesion test (Pull off test)Perform other duties as directed by QC.Complete all document for the Audit as per our client requirement. Ensure all releases are being issued after completing the Mechanical Work prior to Insulation Coordinated testing including hydraulic test, pressure test, and insulation thickness, heat withstanding capacity & heat loss, temperature conductivity test and temperature of boiler wall after insulation.To work out and co-ordinate with Client QC Inspectors to close out all kinds of Surveillance Report and NCRs related to Coating, Insulation work.
