 Maintained & optimized the performance of various monitoring tools like WhatsUP Gold, Nagios and Netflow analyser. Managed a project to enhance the capability of WhatsUp Gold tool with the support of Cisco and IPSwitch Company. Resource Monitoring on Approximately 2500 Servers and 400 Network Devices by using WhatsUp Gold and Nagios. Bandwidth monitoring by using Net flow analyzer, MRTG. Identified and resolved issues related to the Server and Network failure and responsible for Escalation to the appropriate Infrastructure support teams. Communicated with the various teams concerning RCA, scheduled maintenance and availability of network and servers. Handled Network issues like interface utilization and finding root cause of network failure. Remedy Management & provided support for resolving the issues to ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines are met appropriately.Project Handled - A project to optimize the performance of monitoring tool:To improve the efficiency of infrastructure monitoring there was a need to monitor performance parameters i.e. Memory and CPU Utilization. In that course we identified that current monitoring tool is not capable enough to monitor the Memory and CPU Utilization for newer versions of network devices.As an IC, worked on this project to enhance the capability of WhatsUp Gold tool. In that process I modified the MIB Directory of the tool by adding new MIB’s (Message Information Block) so that the tool can identify and monitor certain OID’s (Object Id’s) to monitor Memory and CPU Utilization.
