Worked on analysis, preparation of specs, coding and unit testing of Work requests (Programs to be modified or new program development) in the process of decommissioning of the legacy system (Where VSAM & ADABASE were extensively used) to the new standards for DB2 on AS/400. Developed new transaction to transmit all the bills from COMDOC (COMputerised DOCumentation system) to US Customs for containers coming in a particular vessel to a particular US Port of discharge, the transaction also facilitates the generation of reports for that particular Vessel.
