Working as Project Manager for the Interior fit-out works for the Hilton resort in Muscat. The project was changed from a Clubhouse to a 5 Star Hotel with 205 keys which resulted in scope changes. The 5star resort was redesigned to accommodate the requirements of the operator Hilton. Was closely involved in the design development with the Operator, Client, Engineer, and Interior Designer. The Project was having SPA, swimming pools, a Mini Golf course, climbing facilities, and 4 restaurants. In addition to the Kitchen and laundry which is designed to supply food for 2000 meals per day was also having a Banquet hall to accommodate functions, marriages. The marble was selected from Greece after thorough research. The wallpaper and fabric were selected from a single source to facilitate procurement and quality. The approximate project value was 54 million USD.

Project Manager for the Interior fit-out works for Public areas of Kempinski Hotel at Al Mouj. It was a 5 start Hotel facility, S&T completed the SPA, Gym, and F&B area (Restaurants and Bars) of the project. As a Project Manager was successful in completing the project within the stipulated budget. S&T was directly involved in the coordination with the Client, Operators, Engineers, Designers, the Main Contractor, and the MEP contractor. The project value was 7.8 million USD.

Senior Project Coordinator for the Officer’s Club House Project by the Royal Oman Police. The project was having 182 keys and was constructed basically for the Staff of Royal Oman Police. The 135 million USD project is a Silver-rated Green building project and is situated in a prime location in Muscat. As Senior Coordinator was assisting the Project Director in all the aspects of the Project which include Liaising with Clients, Architects, Consultants, Contractors, subcontractors & External agencies for determining technical specifications, approvals, and obtaining statutory clearances. Identify all the Finishes and source out the materials in accordance with the specification and within budget.

Nizwa, Ad Dakhiliyah, Oman

The Anantara Hotel Project, Jebal Akdar is a 5 Star Hotel Project executed by M/s. ALEC and Services and Trade Company as a joint venture. Was in charge of the Finishes execution team from Services and Trade Company and was responsible for the execution of Presidential Villa’s, Cliff Edge Villa, Garden Villa’s – A, B & C, and Fitness Centre. The project is located on a 66,000m2 plot and consists of 115 keys including 82 deluxe rooms and 33 one-, two- or three-bedroom villas with private swimming pools. The project also had a SPA facility which was the state of the art technology. The swimming pool stones were sourced from Indonesia which was in sync with the surrounding mountains.

Salalah, Oman

Was in charge of the Operations team which successfully completed the Old Souk - which is one of the attractions in Salalah Gardens mall. The project was completed in an operational mall / hotel within the time frame to the satisfaction of the Employer. It replicates an old souk and is rich in mill works and glazing with traditional stone flooring

Project In Charge (Operations)Started as a Procurement Engineer and was later made in charge of the operations. Coordinated with various agencies (internal) and other Bid packages and completed the project. The mall and Hotel was completed and handed over in stages to facilitate the operations on the advice of the Client

Worked on the Tender, Budget and Scheduling of the project which comprises of Civil construction and Interior development comprising of Showrooms, parking areas, storage facility , service yard and accommodation blocks. The project has to be finished in four phases taking into consideration the existing facilities are fully operational. Was responsible for budgeting of the project for all the phases of work. Approximate value of project is Omani Riyal 7.5 million. The project scheduling was done on Microsoft Project Planner for all the phases of work which extended for a period of 28 months.
