CurrentAs a Linux Team Lead, my role focuses on managing and optimizing Linux-based systems across both on-premise and cloud environments (AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), ensuring performance, security, and scalability. I lead a team of administrators and engineers to maintain and enhance system infrastructure.Key responsibilities include:- Managing and mentoring the Linux team, promoting collaboration and continuous learning.- Overseeing AWS and Oracle Cloud infrastructure management, ensuring secure and efficient cloud operations.- Leading the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers in both cloud and on-prem environments.- Troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing performance, and automating tasks with tools like Bash, and Ansible.- Driving security initiatives, enforcing compliance with industry standards, and implementing disaster recovery strategies.- Leading projects including cloud migrations, upgrades, and system expansions, ensuring timely and seamless execution.- Work closely with application teams to understand the requirements and deliver the application environments per requirement.- Manage relationships with external vendors, including hardware providers, cloud providers, third-party software suppliers, and Linux distributions, to ensure seamless integration and support for products used within the Linux environment.- Ensure proper licensing is in place for all software and tools used within the Linux infrastructure and manage vendor support contracts.- Oversee the design and implementation of backup and disaster recovery strategies for all Linux systems, ensuring business continuity.- Ensure all processes, changes, configurations, and project implementations are thoroughly documented to enable smooth operations and troubleshooting.I aim to ensure robust, secure, and scalable Linux environments that meet organizational goals and support IT strategy through effective team leadership and innovation.
