I hold a PhD in Social Work from Pondicherry Central University. My primary research focus is on 'Environment and Youth Social Work', with a particular emphasis on utilizing nature-based intervention strategies to improve the nature connection, environmental self-efficacy, and pro-environmental behaviour of young adults.Furthermore, a part of my research involves applying theories and identifying various factors influencing peoples' attitudes and behaviours towards sustainability and climate change. Moreover, I am travelling to climate and disaster-affected communities and actively participating in documenting climate-related injustices while advocating for policy-related actions.I strongly believe in connecting children and adults with nature to foresee a future community characterized by enhanced personal and environmental well-being. My specialization lies in designing customized, nature-based training programmes that prioritize nature connection, skill development, and community building. My outreach extends to a diverse audience, including school children, college students, and corporate professionals.
