I have worked in food and beverage for around two years with most of my experience as a barista and making drinks. Working within the food and beverage industry has greatly expanded my knowledge of how to work within a team setting, to effectively complete goals and tasks. It has also allowed me to expand my abilities to effectively communicate with customers and has broadened my knowledge of the customer service world.Apart from working, I am also currently studying as a student at the University of Technology Sydney, for a Bachelor of Science which specializes in Biotechnology. Being a student has allowed me to gain approximately 2 years of lab experience, where I learned about how to work with different programs such as Excel. I have learned over the course of my two years of study, how to effectively analyze data and come to conclusions based on the results seen. Working within the laboratory setting has also allowed me to expand my knowledge of how laboratory equipment actually works, such as pipettes, microscopes, and spectrophotometers.
