Designing • Responsible for preparation and submission of required Lighting layouts, BOQ, product specifications and lighting calculations for projects• Responsible for preparation and submission ofelectrical layouts, structural layouts, load calculations, payback calculations and other technical documents related to lighting • Manage and assist design team to execute lighting designs and meet all assign works in given deadlines• Research and developments/Modification of light fixtures with suppliers identifying market demands and requirements (Economical continuous linear light development for supermarkets in Sri Lanka)Project Management• Manage project pipeline and dedicate tasks for the team members accordingly to meet the deadline • Coordinate with contractors and Architects to identify the issues can be occur during construction and develop suitable solutions whenever its need• Set deadlines for each task and monitor weekly progress to minimize the delays• Project Preplanning and take actions in advance to minimize unnecessary costsCosting and Estimation • Presume upcoming losses in projects (EXW price variation and exchange difference) and include into the estimations to minimize the losses • Take actions to maintain estimated profit margins of each project • Take strategic plans to minimize costs of proposed products (Eg : minimize freight cost by importing several order together as FCL shipment )Customers & Suppliers Handling • Responsible for Key account customer handling(Supermarket chains, retails chains) and maintaining good relationship with them • Negotiate with suppliers and closely work with them to develop products for clients’ requirements and approved standards • Responsible for evaluating supplier product quality and all technical parameters before it propose for a project

Project Installations • Execution and supervision of project activities such as drawings and document submission, procurement, follow-ups, Manpower handling.• Monitoring project progress • Ensures Sub-contractors work done are in accordance with the project specification & approved construction drawing, contract documents, agreed procedure, method of statements and all applicable standards.• Provide engineering and technical supports in calibration, maintenance, testing and commissioning • Plans analysis all possible installation methodologies and recommends the best options • Coordinates with client /consultant for instructions, assigns targets for accomplishment and ensure target are met on weekly /monthly basis • Submit weekly reports, inspection requests and all monitoring reports Designing • Design Lighting Control (KNX) and Low voltage panels in accordance to clients requirements and standards• Design electrical wiring, street light pole bases and electrical panels for Street lights installations.• Preparation of drawings and method statements for Installation methods • Design PV systems by calculating DC power generation ,power losses ,total power feed to electricity grid and return of investment • Design Lighting Simulations and payback calculation of LED conversions for smaller scale projects• Prepare drawings and designs for custom made light fixture mounting accessories and street light poles Costing and Estimation • Preparation of tender documents following up standard procedure for tender preparation • Make competitive price proposals by targeting customer segment (Government, Hotels, institutions etc..)• Prepare estimations for variation works • Prepare quotations and proposals by understanding the customers investment • Revive cash flow on a project and Estimate projects future expenses
