• Oversee the efficient operation of the project to comply with the applicable operational procedures, works instructions / method statements and Codes of Practices.• Ensuring that industry standards are maintained, monitored and make suggestions for improvement in accordance with company expectations.• Inspecting the works in accordance with the quality rules and regulations, specifications, engineering drawings and applicable construction standards.• Preparing detailed inspection reports with the results and findings of every inspection.• Providing an inspection schedule to the yard and also randomly performing walkabout inspections and tests to confirm that the work is being carried out to QHSE standards and the relevant rules and regulations.• Work closely with Class surveyors to ensure full compliance with Class rules, Flag state and relevant guidelines.

Singapore

• Managing activities right from the initial stage to execution in setting up plants master schedule, installation schedule; involving material & inventory control, progress monitoring, site management & manpower etc.• Establishing project review, monitoring and status reporting procedures to accurately report progress of the project to the stakeholders - engineering department, & consultants and end user clients. • Monitoring the performance of subcontractors and initiate actions if delivery deviates from specifications and schedule.• Ensured that all appropriate technical documentation is verified and maintained in readiness for project operations. • Coordinate meetings and daily safety briefing at site.• Responsible for installation and commissioning operations as well as conducting tests & inspections to ensure operational effectiveness of utilities.• Knowledge of Hazardous area electrical installation (Ex) guidelines as per ATEX 95.

Ratnagiri Area, India

• Reviewing engineering drawings, layouts, technical specifications, cost estimates for installation & commissioning of the plant.• Monitoring the engineering, installation and commissioning interface between the Yard and vendors.• Review work packages, commissioning procedures, SOP documents.• Startup, Pre commissioning, Commissioning & trouble shooting assistance of electrical Equipments. Fault finding & troubleshooting of Hydraulic & Pneumatic equipments.• Reviewing of cable schedules & single line diagrams, preparing and checking of electrical materials specifications, developing BOM from electrical & Instrumentation Diagram, General Arrangement Drawing (GAD) and coordinating for material requirement • Detailed Engineering for preparation of electrical load list, cable schedules, interconnection schedules, check wire schedules.(Based upon the various manufacturers’ drawings) • Preparing single line diagrams & General arrangement by using Autocad.
