I have around 2 decades of rich experience in Substation Automation Systems. This includes extensive work with clients in Power Transmission & Distribution, Power Generation, Steel, Oil & Gas industry verticals, both in the public and private sectors. My areas of exposure and expertise include extensive knowledge of IEC61850 protocol and its applications, design, engineering, testing and commissioning of Substation Automation Systems, People Management and Program Management.I am currently Leading the R&D Team for Substation Automation Systems at GE Vernova managing a team of 30+ including developers and testers. I addition to the site leader role, I am also playing the role of Global Integration and Validation Leader leading a world class System/Product Testing team supporting the system integration and testing of products in the substation automation domain.Some of the other key skills that I have honed over the years, in addition to technical expertise, are that of client management, leading scale and complexity and nurturing teams in ambiguous situations.I have done my B.E Electronics & Communication from Visveswaraiah University (Karanataka) and PostGraduate Diploma in Embedded Systems & VLSI Design from CDAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing). I joined Areva T&D in the year 2005 as a Graduate Engineer Trainee.
