He has extensive experience of over 19 years in handling a broad range of intellectual property disputes, including disputes relating to trade marks, trade dress, domain names, unfair competition, trade secret and related contractual disputes, copyright, geographical indication, information technology, disparagement, comparative advertising, etc. He also advises clients on transactional work, data protection and due diligence of trade marks and copyright.Prashant regularly appears before various High Courts and District Courts and the Supreme Court of India. He has been involved in several matters that have led to landmark judgements by Indian courts, including issues of intermediary liability, divide between artistic copyright and design rights, etc.Prashant represents clients across a broad spectrum of industries and has acted for well-known international and domestic companies, including Fortune 500 companies in complex litigation.Prashant is a regular speaker at various IP fora including Government of India’s IP awareness initiatives for enforcement officials and MSMEs etc. He also regularly speaks at IP seminars organized by the leading industry bodies in India.Prior to joining K&S Partners, Prashant has worked with a prominent litigator in Delhi for over four years.
