Hello Everyone, I have a total experience of 17 years in industrial automation, Thermoelectric materials research, Nanotechnology and scientific instrumentation.Hi. I have an experience on synthesis and characterization of Lanthanum-based transition metal perovskites by "Soft Solution" methods for catalytic and gas-sensing applications. Currently, at IIT Bombay, my PhD work is focused on Thermoelectric Materials. I have fabricated a fully-automated (computer-controlled) setup for simultaneous measurement of Seebeck Coefficient-electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity of materials at elevated temperatures. Further, I am doing the modelling and simulation of heat flow through the various thermoelectric materials. This also involves optimization of the various parameters to achieve the best thermoelectric conversion efficiency.Recently we (as part of Pragyan Instruments) have also started making scientific instruments for the characterization of Electrical and Transport properties of Ceramics, semiconductors and Polymers, giving extremely reliable and publication quality data. These include completely automated and computer-interfaced High temperature Gas-Sensing measurement setups, electrical conductivity measurement apparatus, I-V measurements, Battery Measurement Systems, Power Quality monitoring and measurement, Solar Panel Testing test-zigs and software.
