• The primary function is to provide Application/Production Support for business critical applications.• Involvement in Deployment/Releases, Change management and Incident Management.• High interaction with business users and engagement with development & other technical support teams, hence close working relationships with all associated systems and business teams is a critical responsibility.• Optimizations.• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle including analysis, design, development, testing and troubleshooting.• Working on new workarounds, Release activities and user trouble tickets with different team parallel like SME, Application COE, Developers, Clients and Stakeholders to complete within target specified.• Coordinating with Client, onshore and offshore teams along with third party vendors for quick resolution of production issues.• Accountable for varied day-to-day support tasks (production incident investigations, root cause analysis, incident fixes & implementations, daily BOD/EOD health-checks, respond to production related issues, queries etc.).• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease down times, streamline work processes, work cooperatively within team and adhere to processes set by operations manager.• Manage an international 24x7 multi-site production infrastructure including deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting.• Involved in deploying applications change request on production environment.• Administrate Weblogic based applications including installation, configuration, clustering, deploying applications and maintenance of WebLogic Server.• Ensure proper monitoring, alerting and reporting in the production environment.• Develop processes, tools, and documentation in support of production operations.• Train and mentor junior staff to improve their ability to support the environment.• SLA Adherence.• Outage Management & Outage Avoidance.
