Area of Knowledge: Maintenance and troubleshooting of 3 X 13.2 MVA Rectifier Transformers, 3 X 16.5 kA , 600 V DC, ABB Make Rectifiers. Maintenance and troubleshooting of LT switchgears, PCC’s, MCC’s and Protection systems. Maintenance of Step-down Transformer (110/11 kV) up to 25 MVA, (11/0.433kV) Step-down Transformers up to 4000 KVA capacity, Maintenance of AC motors up to 500 kW (Squirrel cage and Slipring Induction motors) and DC Motors up to 550 kW. Troubleshooting and maintenance of 2 trolley overhead cranes (70/20T, 60/20T, 20/10T, 10/5T) and 2T Hoists. Maintenance and troubleshooting of faults in DOL, Star-Delta, Forward-Reverse, Inverter Drives (VFD’s from 3.7 kW up to 200 kW ) ,Soft Starters, Auto transformer Starters , Resistance Starters ,DC Thyristor Drives and Intelligent starters ( SIMOCODE – Siemens). Maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC’s and Closed loop control systems. Programming of PLC’s (Siemens s7-200, s7-300, Mitsubishi FX 2N, Messung Nexgen 2000, Allen Bradley Micrologix 1000, 1200, 1500), OMRON. Operation and maintenance of 110 kV / 11 kV HT switchyard and switchgears. Maintenance of 11 kV Control and Protection panels. Operation and maintenance of UPS up to 500 kVA capacity.
