I currently work as Test Lead at Jet2 travel tech and have 12+ years of valuable industry experience. I am passionate about the progression of the software engineering industry and its focus on best practice. In my daily work I make use of C#, Selenium,NUnit, Specflow, Manual testing, automation testing, CI/CD and API testing . And have a high degree of proficiency utilizing these tools and practices. I certainly enjoy my current role but the challenge presented in this field is what I would be keen to undertake. I am ISTQB certified tester both at foundation and advance level. I also appreciate working in a collaborative environment with other like-minded, hard working team members. I have excellent documentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to liaise effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels. I have been in a managerial position for the past two years and I believe my greatest assets are my ability to work with different personalities and adapt quickly to different situations.I always keep an eye on what is going on in the software world and am not afraid to try out new approaches or ideas to solve age old problems. On a personal level, although I am very confident in my own abilities, I am keen to learn and not shy to ask for advice when I have to.
