As the Director of AAWAJ, I lead impactful initiatives that focus on advocacy, grassroots action, and sustainable change to protect children and marginalized communities.A passionate anti-trafficking advocate, my team and I have successfully rescued and supported over 1,800 children from trafficking and other vulnerabilities. I have conducted extensive research on missing children and their linkages with trafficking, collaborating with key stakeholders, including the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU), police departments, and the Women and Child Development (WCD) Department. I have also contributed to a significant study on trafficking conducted by TISS, Mumbai.At AAWAJ, we work with the youth of Madhya Pradesh, empowering over 1,00,000 young individuals with child protection knowledge. As an expert on child sexual abuse, I have trained more than 4,000 government officials, including police officers, CWC/JJB members, DCPU staff, and government teachers, and conducted awareness sessions with over 30,000 children.In collaboration with organizations like PRAXIS, UNICEF, and NIRD, I have undertaken high-impact research projects and campaigns. As an award-winning writer, I have authored over 300 articles on child rights and trafficking, published in national and regional outlets. My work has been recognized with prestigious accolades, including the CNN-IBN Young Indian Leader Award and the National RTI Award, reflecting my unwavering commitment to creating a safer and more equitable world for children.
