TATA PROJECTS LIMITED has seven operating Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and fourteen supporting Support Services Departments (SSDs) and under each SBU organization have several projects which organizations have to accomplish within time. Each SBU has got four mainstays/backbone knows as “BSC Perspectives”, and each perspective has got several “Objectives” which in turn have various “Measures” based on which the goals are set. Each perspective has a different goal which when combined acts as a united Organizational goal. This Online BSC covers all these perspectives, objectives and measures which will help the company to measure its growth and keep a track of the various ongoing projects that the company is executing. The Online BSC keeps track of various perspectives as well as its objectives and measures. Based on the measures targets are set and the actual performance is tracked against the corresponding target, based on the results the company assesses itself and takes steps corresponding to the results. This process involved a lot of time and manpower hence we were asked to make this process online so that time and manpower could be saved. This application will benefit the company in following ways :-- reduced amount of processing time, - less engagement of manpower, - 24 * 7 availability of data from anywhere around the TATA PROJECTS Network.
