As a highly-motivated and results orientated professional within the development sector, I have a proven track record of providing exemplary levels of service to a range of beneficiaries, including families, high risk groups, corporates and individuals. A post graduate in sociology, I have undertaken several responsibilities, both as freelance and pay roll staff, within leading organizations such as WHO, UNICEF, PFI, ORG MARG, Parivar Sewa Sansthan, CARE India, Futures Group/ Palladium Group, OSACS, VHS, HBF and HLFPPT. I have had extensive work experience, both in research and action, in social development sector, including Health & Nutrition, Education, Micro Finance& Livelihood, Emergency response, Disaster Risk Reduction etc. giving me varied skills and the ability to work with clients. I have worked with a wide range of Government systems, including with state departments of Health and Family Welfare, Home, Education, Labor, Panchayat Raj, ICDS and Forestry, as well as various offices of the Nagar Palika system. My responsibilities included partnerships coordination and management, capacity building efforts for implementation of program and monitoring of day to day progress and the impact, along with strategic planning; at state, industry and NGO level, financial management, liaison with stakeholders, at the administration, industries and community level, documentation and supporting the efforts of team members.I have an experience to work on holistic development of community, and an opportunity to work in multi sectorial and multi donor programs. I have strong communication skills and am equally comfortable working in English, Hindi, Oriya and Bengali.
