Last three years in KAU, I developed more skills in teaching, research methodology, advanced patient care and administrative works. I am working on two projects in KAU. Beside routine pediatric care, I can manage and counsel rare disorders including hereditary Hemoglobinopathies and coagulopathy, dysmorphic syndromes, metabolic disorders (early and late onset), syndromic and non-syndrome mental retardation and malformations syndromes, hereditary cancer syndromes, Neuro hereditary disorders, antenatal counseling, infertility and recurrent spontaneous abortions.

Beside Pediatrics consultant duties, I show many genetic cases and managed thalassemia cases. I gave many lectures to paramedical staffs for basic medical subjects. The Hospital had planned the regular outdoor activity like Medical Camps and I provide my services in most of the camps.

After my MD Pediatrics. I did DM course,In which I was exposed to all fields of medical genetics as cytogenetic, molecular genetics, genetic counseling, dysmorphology, antenatal diagnosis (malformation scan and fetal autopsy), genetic hematology, muscular dystrophies, skeletal dysplasia, and other pediatric rare disorders. I was posted in the lab, OPD, and ward. Thalassemia and Haemophilia were the commonest genetic disorders which admitted in the ward regularly that give me additional opportunity to manage these cases in the best way. I have consulted more than one thousand genetic pediatric cases and their families beside routine basic pediatric management.
