Roles and Responsibilities:• Identifies, leads, and drives complex sourcing projects across the relevant business areas• Execute the developed category strategy for the aligned spend categories, with ownership of the strategicsourcing project portfolio (local, regional and global)• Knowledge of RFX Management (RFQ Preparation, Management & Release)RFI / RFQ Management – Request RFI or RFQs from suppliers, and in-depth analysis of RFQs,preparation of Sourcing Work Books and recommendations to commodity managers on the preferredsourcing solutions.• Follow up with vendors/Suppliers to get Quotes on time• Spend Analysis - Understand Part-Level Commercial Data (Where Used, EAU, Forecasted Usage / ProductLife Cycle)• Daily/Weekly communication with internal stakeholders & external Stakeholders• Support for Pilot, implementation Eaton Standard Sourcing process.• Execute competitive quotes. Identify additional potential suppliers, conduct due diligence on suppliers,contact suppliers to communicate requirements, evaluate quotes received and share findings with the enduser.• Evaluates supplier quotes and provides an award recommendation to the end user.Reviews, screens and scrutinizes supplier responses and communicates questions to the appropriatestakeholders Good exposure to data analytics, process automation, macros, etc

Roles and Responsibilities: For Local• Purchasing all packing material and packaging solutions required in the plant.• Purchasing all chemicals used for the production line.• Looking for purchase of all MRO items including all maintenance spares and other machinery used in the plant.• Purchasing all stationary items required in the plant• Develop purchasing strategies for site/plants managed indirect materials or services• Negotiation with supplier• Develop new supplier as per the requirement of material• Realizing blanket PO• As per the monthly plan weekly schedule is given to a supplier• As per plan check the shortages for 3-days, 1 week, Daily follow up with supplier for materialFor Import• Maintaining the record of all shipment ETA & ETD• Follow up on check list• Maintaining the record of all actual duty & duty paid to CHA• Generate E-way bill for All import shipment• Confirm CHA to Go part load OR special vehicle• Maintaining the shipment received to plant & their Freight invoice & CC invoice received or notLogistics invoice processing• Check the invoices received from FF & CHA as per the contract rate• set of documents to be lined up (FF invoice, CC invoice, BL OR AWB copy, Duty invoice, CFS invoice, all receiptinvoice , shipper invoice, shipper PL , BOE)• Maintaining the record of the FF & CC invoices received against shipment & submitted to finance.Factor Goods• As per sales request, if new part code, then TP is set in supplier master price• PO is released & send to the supplier, & confirm with the supplier for OC & BSD• Shipping instruction is given to the shipper with overseas agent details.Reports• Import Transit inventory• Freight provision report to finance• Weekly shortages• Daily RM inventory reportOthers• Responsibilities include any of the following activities related to receiving, storing, and/or shipping material finished goods.
