I moved back to India in 2015 after spending a decade overseas to head the TNM BPO team. This team of 6 has been tasked with transforming and standardising the Global TNM processes in the core TnM functions of Direction Setting (Strategy), Market Intelligence, Marketing and Transformation. Very excited to undertake this challenging role!

The Gambia

I was responsible for Gambia country volume, revenue and costs among other measures on the country scorecard. Gambia is part of the North West Africa cluster with a volume of approx 150,000 FFE and USD 600 million turnover. I was directly resposible for 5 direct reports with 2 leader of others among them. Total staff strength is 15 FTE's.

Sierra Leone

Maersk Sierra Leone is part of the Ivory Coast Cluster and my responsibility among others were volume, revenue and costs as per targets agreed with regional trade management. I had 2 leader of others reporting into me and a total staff strength of 13 FTE's.

Sierra Leone

I was responsible for Maersk Line commercial and operational targets which involved meeting the volume, revenue and operational targets as agreed with the Managing Director and Trade Management. I had a total staff of 7 FTE reporting into me.

Cochin Area, India

I was the regional sales manager responsible for sales activities in the five locations of Cochin, Tuticorin, Mangalore, Goa and Coimbatore. I was reporting to the General Manager - South West Region and had a total staff strength of 7 sales people reporting into me.

Gambia

I was appointed as the Honorary Danish Consul in The Gambia in Feb 2012 and it was very interesting to deal with myriad cases of both visa handling and consular matters.

Kenya

This was my first expatriation post my successful completion of the MISE (Maersk International Shipping Education) Training Program. As part of the rotation philosophy during the training program one year was spent in the Finance department in Maersk Kenya and one year was spent in the Customer Service - Export department. In my Customer Service role, I had 3 FTE's reporting into me.

India

I was hired as a MISE trainee in Maersk India and as part of my training I had stints in customer service, capacity management, operational cost management and sales and marketing management. These were over various locations in India including Bombay (Mumbai), Calcutta(Kolkatta) and Madras (Chennai). I graduated in 1999 and post it was posted briefly as Assistant Manager - Sales and Marketing in the inland services division of APM Terminals in Nhava Sheva, Mumbai. This was prior to my expatriation to Kenya in April 2000.
