Here i did all the usual things like Copywriting, graphic designing, scripting, conceptualizing, visualizing, strategy building etc that I had done in my previous agencies. But here since the company had also diversified into an event management and digital marketing I got to do a lot more. I gained a lot of new experience working for on-ground events and activations and gained a whole new knowledge about brand building, event planning, merchandizing etc.

I supervised the entire creative team. I created concepts and copy for various advertisement campaigns, creating marketing strategies, supervising the graphic designers, attending briefing session, leading brainstorming sessions, preparing presentation and attending pitching and presentation sessions.

My core responsibilities here were to assist the creative team with English copy and content for various print adverts and other branding materials. I worked in coordination with the creative Director and assisted in brainstorming sessions, creating ideas and concepts and suggesting visual cues.

But as I learnt more of graphic designing from my senior colleagues. I soon started creating dummy layouts, logos and other graphic elements under the supervision of my Art Director and other graphic designers.

I was fully responsible for writing English content for newspaper advertisement, proofing written content, visualization and assisting the graphic designers with image search for dummy creatives.

The job responsibility here was the same as my previous jobs. But unlike a physical newspaper and magazine, THT started off as an online news portal. The opportunity to work with a new younger team and new software - Adobe InDesign was a great learning experience.

Unlike the magazine I had worked for earlier, this was a newspaper, so things were a little more serious. I used to look after the International news page and the Entertainment page. I learned a lot from my senior colleagues and really enjoyed my stint here.

Though everything was exciting in the beginning, it soon became repetitive and monotonous. I had to work night-shifts and was deskbound throughout my shift; I was not gaining any new knowledge outside of this and I soon realized that I needed to move on and find something that is more relevant to my file of study.So as soon as my contract was over, I formally took leave from the company.

Here,I was responsible for doing the page layout, editing news articles, and proofreading the copy. Since, I was new in the field, initially the Senior editors supervised me, but soon I got a grasp of things and could manage independently.

Right after my graduation, I started shooting videos for various events like weddings and birthdays. I also used to work as a videographer and editor for my college professors in their production house and did some shooting for documentaries and music videos.
