Prashant Sarkar is a Consultant Intern - AI at Norwich Clinical Services, Student at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. Colleagues describe him as "Prashant joined the PharmacoVigilance (PV) team during his fourth-year project work while earning an engineering degree in Artificial Intelligence (AI). During his six-month tenure, he studied our daily PV activities and began by attending numerous sessions with PV specialists dealing with daily PV activities to become acquainted with the PV vocabulary. He is incredibly talented and understands what an AI professional should know. He identified and supervised six initiatives during a six-month period (Projects such as scientific and medical literature surveillance, aggregate reporting content, signal reports content, medical writing content, and safety-specific reports content demonstrated his ability in the implementation and execution of automation operations). He leveraged his knowledge and experience with automation and artificial intelligence to streamline common time-consuming tasks. The most important factor is that he had a thorough understanding of implementing the necessary AI infrastructure for a company that wanted to be inline, as well as forecasting future upcoming challenges due to the frequent version updates and their impact on finalized AI applications used for PV activities. This leads me to recommend Prashant to any organization wishing to streamline and simplify its processes and procedures."
