A seasoned finance professional with 10 years of experience, working with private equity firms and aviation sector, managing diversified profiles over the years including but not limited to operations, MIS (operations and cost), group level cashflows and fund flow, finalization of accounts and audit, third party asset valuation of the Fund assets, on shore (Income Tax, GST, MCA,RBI) and offshore statutory compliances (Tax, FATCA, CRA/BRA, K1’s), Tax litigation for offshore entities primarily on issues of beneficial ownership/DTAA benefits/tax refund matters, ensuring investment entry and exit readiness for both FDI and FPI route, Fund investor relationship (capital call/ distribution notice/ investor reporting pack) and varied reporting from time to time.

Carrying five years of experience in managing the finance function of the family office of Ajit Khimji group (based out of Oman) and private equity of various HNI’s under the management of Kitara Capital private limited. The Fund is invested through Mauritius route across various Mid Cap segments under the FPI route and unlisted sectors through the FDI route. Here I am responsible mainly for handled operations across various sections including Finalization of accounts, audit, onshore and offshore taxation, Due diligence, Structuring, Investment and divestments readiness, and regulatory reporting to RBI and SEBI for foreign portfolio investors.

• Capitalisation of Assets which includes Preparation of Capital Model, Analysis of Work Orders agreed with the clients, recognition of asset class for capitalization, loading of interest during capitalisation, etc.• Reinstatement of Foreign Exchange Fluctuation includes recognition of the liability for all Foreign Vendors and restating the liability as per the quarter end rates in books of accounts.• Statement of Fund Requirements in order to make Optimum & effective Utilisation of available fund for making timely Payments to the Vendors & to keep a track record of party wise payment made on day to day basis.• Regulatory and Statutory Compliances related to AAI, AERA, MOCA etc.• Schedule Maintenance of Secured Loans involving inflow & outflow of loan fund on Monthly basis including interest component.• Taxation issues like DTAA and Transfer Pricing during initializing the agreement with a Foreign Vendor.• Report on Utilization of Development Fees Collected from customers on Monthly basis.• Monthly Project Management Information System Report is maintained for all the Vendors including updation , corrections of all the Project Codes. Role is to improvise the MIS Report parallel to the updation.• Preparation of Yearly Expense Budget & Monitoring & Controlling the utilization of same. • Prepare monthly Statement of Variance Analysis of expenses with respect to Budget, Previous Month & corresponding Month of previous year to identify the change in trend of expense incurrence.
