• Handling the vesting gains (Restricted Stock) process for Syntel Inc employees.
• Doing State & Local Registration. Keeping track of the taxes withheld.

• Traveled to U.S.A. (The Woodlands, Texas) on 8th December 2007 for a period of 78 days and successfully transitioned the BP US Payroll process to Hewitt Mumbai Office. Visa is valid till 2017.Working on BP US Payroll.
• Making outbound calls to HR (employees too at times) to discuss any paycheck/payroll related issues.
• Taking inbound calls for any queries related to paychecks/payrolls the HR/employee has.
• Working on payroll mainly includes processing on the payroll reports and review incorrect paychecks and manually correct them. Warnings and soft warnings are checked from the concerned paychecks to ensure no paycheck.
• SPOE entries are the one off payment inputs made in PeopleSoft which are then picked in the paychecks on the payroll date and are paid to the employees with the regular on cycle paychecks.
• Off cycle checks are processed for the payments made other than regular on cycle paychecks.
