Current- Designed and developed components for linear displacement sensors (LVDT) and rotational displacement sensors (RVDT) utilized in aerospace and industrial sectors.
- Conducted static structural and vibration analysis of sensor components exposed to fluid pressure and mechanical vibrations using FEA software (Solidworks simulation).
- Performed FMEA (Failure mode & effects analysis) and calculated MTBF (Mean time between failures) calculations as part of reliability analysis for the sensors.
- Collaborated with the manufacturing department and utilized DFA (Design for Assembly) techniques to streamline manufacturing and assembly processes and enhanced product quality during the design phase.
- Produced product specification drawings, component drawings, detailed assembly drawings using GD&T principles and assembly work instructions for production.
- Designed fixtures for LVDT test benches and tooling to meet manufacturing needs.
