Preparation of tax returns: 1040,1041 709 & 1065.• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and trust & estate returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. • Build impactful relationships with new and existing clients and maintain relationships with firm leadership. • Develop a working knowledge of the client's business, take responsibility for completing assigned tasks, and meet client deadlines. • Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and proactively apply new knowledge to client engagements. • Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm to coordinate efforts, share knowledge, and ensure efficient and effective delivery of tax services.

Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations (Tech and Life Science) for a variety of clients focusing on Pre and post-IPO stage.• Participate in accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provision calculations!• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience•• Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects• Advise clients and be responsible for delivering high-quality tax service and advice.• Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm; build and manage client relationships.

Prepare / review of complex corporate (T2), personal (T1) and estate tax (T3) returns.• Assist in domestic and cross border tax compliance files for corporate clients.• Preparation and review of sales tax returns• Respond to CRA inquires including written responses to audit requests, filing Notice of Objections, Fairness Requests and Voluntary Disclosures.• Preparing various tax forms such as T2054, NR4, Thin Capitalization,• Assists in research of income tax and sales tax issues as requested.

● Preparing Review Engagements, Notice to Readers and Financial Statements in accordance with Accounting Standards for Private Enterprise (ASPE)● Compilation of client information including prepare journal entries and working paper file preparation.● Preparing Canadian corporate and personal tax returns.● Taking ownership of the file and being proactive in ensuring the file is completed efficiently and effectively.● Training & supervising junior/entry-level accounting staff.
