At Tabcorp, I led critical testing efforts for several high-impact initiatives, including the separation and transition of the TLC (Tabcorp Lotteries and Keno) division for all the Corporate Applications, the ERP transformation from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion, and the successful migration of the Oracle EBS payroll system to Aurion.TLC Separation & Transition: Spearheaded the testing strategy for the TLC separation, ensuring a smooth transition of the Lotteries and Keno division. Coordinated with cross-functional teams to manage the testing lifecycle, mitigate risks, and maintain business continuity throughout the separation process.ERP Transformation Program: Directed the testing for the ERP transformation from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion, overseeing the integration of the new ERP system across Tabcorp’s core business units. Managed end-to-end testing, managed User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensured alignment with business objectives. Focused on risk management and stakeholder engagement to achieve a successful and seamless transition.Payroll System Migration: Successfully managed the migration of Tabcorp’s payroll system from legacy Oracle EBS to Aurion. Achieved excellence in transition programs of myki system and established governance for testing and quality assurance. Private Wealth Management projects were all client - facing applications and demanded great amount software quality assurance on financial accuracy and reputation as its users were wealthy individuals. As my stint as QA Global manager, key responsibilities started with setting up a new Test team at Goldman Sachs, Bangalore, India. Test process standards were setup to meet the global culture of software development life cycle. With fast paced releases with growing test cases over a period of time, challenges were wide open to embrace the need for automation. After cautious tool analysis, QTP Keyword driven framework was chosen and small features were automated to show cause solidarity of the framework to scale the technology challenges of the PWM Web applications. Over a period time, all the critical scenarios where financial data validation with numerous combinations were automated. This helped the quality team to maintain the precision of data accuracy. Other area where leap step was exhibited in automation was PDF comparison of Client monthly statements. We were able to complete 300+ combinations of various statements in less than 3 hours. This practice was widely appreciated across the teams and the automation framework was re-used for other similar projects. Championed usage of automation in test projects, mentored, trained team members to scale to the next level of automation concepts. QTP forums were opened and challenges were discussed and brainstormed for solutions.On the Quality aspects, I was involved in preparation of Test Plans, Test strategies, Risk Management plans, Estimation of work for various deliverable s like test case preparation and execution for various projects. Automation effort for regression suite, test data preparation, Reporting and tracking of defects, controlling metrics and coming up with defect prevention plans with the lessons learnt from the previous releases.
