Spearheading entire product life cycle management from problem definition, design exploration, designoptimization, and design communication.Clearly communicate risks and plans to mitigate those risks to ensure each drawing review phase exits on timeand adherence to program requirements are met. • Analysis of product material and configuration specifications to determine suitability of form, fit and function.• In-process and Pre-dispatch inspection in according to the requirements• Analysis of product specification and tolerance with regards to quality versus manufacturing process capabilities.• Determination of the manufacturing process including product structure (bill of materials), manufacturing routing(s), outside service processes and the application of manufacturing engineering standards.• Definition of product and raw material stock codes including description, invoked industry standards and revision levels.• Raw material planning to ensure continual supply chain.• Customer Compliant coordination and facilitate investigation through Cross Functional Team (CFT)• Continual improvement activities /Projects at customer locations to improve Process & Product Quality, Cycle time reduction & Capacity enhancement.• Preparation of cost estimates in support sales and customer service to determine prices and subsequently acknowledge quotations to customers.• Preparation of factory documentation including in-house drawings, control charts etc• Design and development of primary and alternate manufacturing processes capable of complying with product design requirements.• Definition and application of product scheduling, parameters including calculation of lead time, definition of economic or other batch quantities and determine of material supply requirements.• Daily monitoring of Quality in manufacturing process and final products to facilitate continual improvements• Participate in deploying 5S, TPM and Business Excellence programs across the factory• Planning Tool & Die making according to production plan.

•New supplier evaluation by conducting supplier qualification surveys with Purchase and Supplier Technical assistance (STA) for Global Intranet site management•Processes audited: machining, assembly, heat treatment, forging, casting and surface treatments•Analysed rejection PPM analysis and follow-up for corrective / preventive actions•Reading and analysing 2D drawings with GD&T, review DFMEA & feasibility reports and Failure Mode and Effect analysis•Preparation of modules on measuring techniques, operating equipment for training inspectors.•Deliver compliance to base quality systems, improvement initiatives and key quality warranty metrics•Implement control plans based on analysis of X-Bar R charts of various parameters•Coordinate with other regions and functions to proactively understand top issues and resolve•Represents the Voice of the Customer within local teams. Challenges the teams with customer experience feedback and input to decisions.•Validate that Products continue to meet operational and customer expectations throughout their lifecycle. Utilize APQP to assure effective introduction of new products•Utilize the local Quality Management System to provide the local teams with procedures and documentation that sufficiently describe their work activities•Performs audits and uses Quality data analytics from all parts of the operation to identify risks, failures and non-conformances within the local operations, its suppliers and customers. Assists in the application of appropriate corrective and preventive action and manages solutions to closure•Updating Inventory status and clearing stocks on QAD – an ERP system •Establishing corrective action plans using structured approach such as 8D, 7QC Tools for the quality issues reported in assembly Line, & Warranty failures.•Supplier capability improvement by conducting periodic audits, Training & engagement•PPAP & Re-PPAP Planning, Audit and approval for Engineering changes
